Simon Kringas was the Project Architect for the Australian Institute of Sport Visitor Centre with DJAS. The 4000 square metre complex is a focal point for tourists and visitors – featuring retail, restaurant, theatre, exhibition and conference facilities and creating a dramatic new entrance to the Indoor Arena. The Visitor Centre was awarded the Australian Institute of Architects 'Canberra Medallion' – given to architecture of an 'exemplary standard'.
