Kingston Foreshore

Urban Design, Australia – National Competition Commendation

A mixed use, medium-density urban design for Canberra's lakeside precinct. The scheme layers heterogeneous urban logics, morphing the planometric city envisaged by Mahony-Griffin into a hybrid montage of commerce, housing, public space and transport. Kingston Foreshore received the jury commendation award in the ACT government's national design competition.
