Taylor House
Residential, Australia
Vector-like form projects and folds into a three dimensional nexus of movement and light. Rising along the southern boundary, a ramp rises and wraps the internal atrium. The suspended fuselage now hovers above a north-facing, open plan living space with seamless connections to the patio, pool and garden. Private domains are secluded above, while below ground, a home theatre, guest room and basement parking form a subterranean complex. The development footprint is minimised, conserving an abundant garden landscape.
