Taylor House

Residential, Australia

Vector-like form projects and folds into a three dimensional nexus of movement and light. Rising along the southern boundary, a ramp rises and turns around the internal atrium, re-orientating the building to the sun. Elevated bedrooms span the entire ground plane, liberating the open plan living space with seamless connections to the patio, pool and garden. Below ground, a home theatre, guest room and basement carparking form a subterranean complex. The development footprint is minimised, conserving an abundant garden landscape.
