Practice
Architecture is the art we live in. It questions our preconceptions, finds the limits of innovation and enlightens our perspectives. Architecture needs a brave client.
We provide expert designs for select projects. We generate a specific and original design for each project, derived from the site, functional programme and construction technology. Concept shapes form, and form reshapes concept. We pursue design integrity and precision to optimise the efficiency of materials, energy and cost of construction. We engage seminal theory and combine sketching and model making with computer-aided design and analysis. Our commitment is to deliver an intelligent and enduring work of architecture.
Kringas Architecture was established in 1997. Director Simon Kringas is an accredited architect with over 25 years professional experience and a PhD in architecture from the University of Sydney. Simon's work is recognised by major competition wins and industry awards at national and state levels. As a university scholar, Simon led Masters design studios and lectured in architecture, urban design and technology. Simon's academic output includes internationally sponsored design-led research, journal publications, exhibitions and conferences.
