"You employ stone, wood and concrete, and with these materials you build houses and palaces. That is construction. Ingenuity is at work. But suddenly you touch my heart, you do me good, I am happy and I say: This is beautiful. That is Architecture. Art enters in".
Le Corbusier
Practice
Architecture is the art we live in. It questions our preconceptions, finds the limits of innovation and enlightens our perspectives. Architecture needs a brave client.
Our mission is to generate a specific and compelling design for each project, born from its site, functional programme and construction technology. Concept shapes form, and form reshapes concept. We pursue integrity and precision to optimise materials, energy and construction cost. We engage critical theory, sketching, model making and computer-aided design. Our commitment is to deliver an intelligent and enduring work of architecture.
We provide expert designs for select projects in any location. We deliver professional design, documentation and project management services for individual, corporate and government clients on single residences, multi-residential, commercial, public, urban and landscape architecture projects. We collaborate and coordinate sub consultant teams across engineering, environmental, artistic and other specialist fields.
